Weyerhof Restaurant

Traditional Austrian and award winning, modern alpine cuisine

Tisch in der alten Weyerhof-Stübe mit zwei traditionell geschnitzten Holzstühlen

The kitchen at the Weyerhof is a combination of traditional Austrian tavern cuisine and contemporary alpine natural cuisine.  We made a conscious decision to treat both styles of cuisine equally in our restaurant, therefore catering to the different tastes of our guests.

Die Köche Andy Stotter und Franz Meilinger

Our head chefs Andreas Stotter and Franz Meilinger and their kitchen crew work closely with small-scale producers, suppliers and farmers in order to be able to guarantee the best possible product quality.

Creative dishes are inspired by the simple, rural home cooking of the Pinzgau and the available products from the forest, meadow and the garden on the property. Whether canned, preserved or fermented, taste and sustainability are always in focus.

Interestingly, the preparation techniques and focal points of the kitchen, as we have known since childhood on our mother's and grandmother's farm, have re-emerged today with different names.

Detail der eingelegten und konservierten Zutaten im Restaurant Weyerhof

Feinschmecker Magazine February- 2023:

“The wood-panelled parlors, where you can sit at tables with white tablecloths under a cupola vault, were restored a few years ago with great attention to detail. All the more attractive is the contrast to the surprise menu by Franz Meilinger and Andreas Stotter, which is so accurately in line with the culinary zeitgeist, as if you were sitting at the table in Copenhagen, Berlin or Vienna and not in Bramberg am Wildkogel...that's Nova-Regio- Finest cuisine.”
